Ash Is Purest White
High-ranking mobster Bin (Liao Fan) yearns for peace but he is caught in the middle of a brutal turf war that is threatening to spiral out of control. Qiao (Tao Zhao) is madly in love with Bin and will do anything to protect him so when a group of thugs from a rival gang pounces on the mobster, she doesn't hesitate in pulling the trigger of a gun. Her reward for this act of loyalty is five years behind bars. When she finally gains release, Qiao sets out to track down Bin and reignite her desire for him against a backdrop of social and economic change in early 21st- century China.
