Let There Be Light
Kevin Sorbo directs, co-writes and stars in a faith drama about one man's spiritual journey in the aftermath of a car accident. Dr Sol Harkens (Kevin Sorbo) is an outspoken atheist, who regularly debates with Christians and uses his well-honed arguments to undermine their faiths. He is estranged from his devoutly Christian ex-wife Katy (Sam Sorbo) and haunted by the death of their young son David from cancer. Following a boozy party to celebrate the launch of a book, Sol drives home under the influence of alcohol and crashes his car. He is declared clinically dead for four minutes and experiences visions of little David telling him to open his heart to God. When he regains consciousness, Sol struggles to make sense of David's words and he reconnects with Katy and the rest of his family.
