Documentary filmmakers Alex Parkinson and Richard da Costa recreate a true-life race against time 100 metres underwater in the North Sea. Chris Lemons, Duncan Allcock and David Yuasa are commercial divers, who use their expertise and skill to complete maintenance in some of the most inhospitable terrains in the world. On September 18, 2012, Lemons dives down to the seabed for a routine operation. A computer error and a severed umbilical cord strand him more than 30 minutes from rescue with just five minutes of oxygen. Using black box recordings, dramatic reconstructions and interviews, Last Breath relives one man's fight for survival.
