K.G.F: Chapter 1
Prashanth Neel directs Yash in a record-breaking Kannada-language drama about a power-hungry man, who goes deep undercover to assassinate the owner of a gold mine. During the 1960s and 1970s, the political divide between the Soviet Union and the United States of America is vast. The price of certain commodities including gold surges. India's oldest gold mine, the Kolar Gold Fields, is key to power and wealth in the country and the Bombay operation is controlled with an iron fist by Suryavardhan (Ramesh Indira). His eldest son Garuda (Ramachandra Raju) will inherit the vast empire ahead of brother Vira (Vinay Bidappa). Rocky Bairya (Yash) arrives in Bombay at the behest of his mother Gangamma (Archana Jois) with a covert plan to infiltrate the KGF and kill Garuda.
