Zabawa, zabawa
Kinga Debska directs a multi-layered drama, which explores the devastating effect of alcohol dependency on three women. Forty-year-old public prosecutor Dorota (Agata Kulesza) uses drink as a coping mechanism, claiming that booze is her salvation. Her politician husband Jerzy (Marcin Dorocinski) manages to keep her addiction secret but eventually the truth must emerge. Meanwhile, brilliant student Magda (Maria Debska) lets off steam by drinking to excess and her friends tolerate her behaviour until tragedy forces her to sober up. Also, hospital worker Teresa (Dorota Kolak) is haunted by the loss of her family to alcohol. Every day, she witnesses the impact of drinking on her patients. She tries to save them from oblivion but some of the walking wounded cannot be rescued.
