The Last Movie
A 4K restoration of Dennis Hopper's award-winning 1971 drama, which has not been widely seen on the big screen for almost 50 years. Kansas (Hopper) is the stunt coordinator on a Hollywood western, which is shooting in a remote Peruvian village. A tragic accident halts production and Kansas turns his back on his old life to settle in the wilderness with a former prostitute. Soon after, he learns that local Indians have taken over the abandoned film set and are pretending to make their own movie. They don't understand the divide between make believe and reality so when the natives choose Kansas as their sacrificial lamb, he might fight to survive his casting call.
