Mowgli: Legend Of The Jungle
Andy Serkis directs an action-packed adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's collection of short stories, The Jungle Book, brought vividly to life through state-of-the-art motion capture performance technology. Orphaned boy Mowgli (Rohan Chand) is raised by wolves Akela (Peter Mullan) and Nisha (Naomie Harris) in the jungles of India. The boy learns the harsh rules of his new habitat from an early age and is accepted by the other animals except for ferocious Bengal tiger Shere Khan (Benedict Cumberbatch). The big cat intends to sink his claws into Mowgli at the earliest opportunity. The boy comes of age in the company of brown bear Baloo (Serkis) and panther Bagheera (Christian Bale) but there are dangers throughout the jungle, not least the seductive rock python Kaa (Cate Blanchett).
