Born in 1928 in Pennsylvania, Fred Rogers became a permanent fixture in the living rooms of American families for over 30 years as the gregarious host of educational TV series Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. At one time, the show held the record as the longest running children's TV series and Rogers was inducted into the Television Hall Of Fame for his tireless work. Fifteen years after the death of Rogers, documentary filmmaker Morgan Neville meets his widow Joanne, children John and Jim and sister Elaine to pay affectionate tribute to the man and the enduring appeal of his TV show.
