Thugs of Hindostan

Two of Bollywood's most popular leading men, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, join forces for the first time in an action-packed high seas adventure written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Timed for release at Diwali, Thugs Of Hindostan chronicles events in 1795 when the British East India Company has cut a swathe through the Indian subcontinent under the guidance of merciless military officer, Commander John Clive (Lloyd Owen). So-called thug Khudabaksh Azaad (Bachchan) and his associates including archer Zafira (Fatima Sana Shaikh) are determined to break the British stranglehold on their motherhood using force where necessary. The British East India Company suffers loses and John Clive recruits rival thug Firangi Mallah (Khan) to infiltrate Azaad's inner circle and pass back useful intelligence. Unfortunately, Firangi's loyalties are torn when he falls under the spell of seductive dancer Suraiyya (Katrina Kaif).
