My Hero Academia: The Movie
The My Hero Academia manga series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi was adapted into an animated TV series in 2016. Now the epic adventure expands onto the big screen. Schoolboy Izuku Midoriya (voiced by Kaito Ishikawa) aka Deku is born without superpowers into a world where these so-called Quirks are the norm. Bullied merciless by classmates, Deku dreams of gaining powers like his peers and thankfully, towering hero All Might (Kenta Miyake) identifies the boy's potential. He and shares a Quirk with the lad. Deku goes into training at U.A. High School, where he gains the skills to defeat the despicable League Of Villains led by arch-nemesis All For One. In this feature-length instalment, Deku and All Might attend the I-Expo, which showcases the latest hero innovations and Quirks. During their visit, Deku meets a beautiful girl called Melissa (Mirai Shida) and I-Expo's security systems are hacked. The fate of artificial moving city I-Island hangs in the balance and Deku must join forces with his mentor All Might to repel the deadly threat.
