Night of the Living Dead
To mark the 50th anniversary of George A Romero's ground-breaking horror, a newly restored and remastered version of Night Of The Living Dead reanimates in selected cinemas with a 20-minute behind the scenes featurette including contributions from Oscar-winning Mexican director Guillermo del Toro (The Shape Of Water) and Robert Rodriguez. Barbra (Judith O'Dea) and her beau Johnny (Russell Streiner) unwittingly stumble into a zombie uprising during a visit to her father's grave. Johnny is killed by one of the undead but Barbra escapes and she seeks refuge inside a farmhouse with fellow survivor Ben (Duane Jones) and the farm's terrified residents, Harry Cooper (Karl Hardman), his wife Helen (Marilyn Eastman) and their daughter Karen (Kyra Schon). They are barricaded inside the farmhouse while zombies maraud outside, hungry for human flesh. However, Karen has been bitten by one of the infected.
