Hurricane
The heroism of Polish pilots during the Second World War informs this inspirational drama directed by David Blair. The Germans' relentless march across Europe ensnares Poland but a group of pilots from 303 Squadron led by Witold Urbanowicz (Marcin Dorocinski) are determined to fight back against the Luftwaffe to keep alive their dream of a free homeland. The RAF trains the Poles to fly the Hawker Hurricane and assigned native Canadian ace John A. Kent (Milo Gibson) to the squadron to bridge the language divide between the trainees and their British. One of the best Polish pilots is Jan Zumbach (Iwan Rheon) and he takes to the skies alongside his countrymen to engage the Germans in daring dogfights as part of the Battle of Britain.
