Slender Man
A disfigured supernatural entity with distorted, twig-like arms terrorises a group of teenage girls in director Sylvain White's horror thriller, which is based on the internet character of the same name, who was linked to a violent stabbing in 2014. Good friends Chloe (Jaz Sinclair), Hallie (Julia Goldani Telles), Katie (Annalise Basso) and Wren (Joey King) believe in the existence of Slender Man (Javier Botet), a bogeyman who kidnaps child victims and can drive you insane if you dare to stare him in the eye. The girls foolishly summon Slender Man and, the following week, Katie disappears. Chloe, Hallie and Wren search for clues to Katie's whereabouts and are stunned to discover that their friend harboured a secret fascination with the occult. If they want to rescue Katie, they will have to offer something equally valuable in return. The trade comes at a terrible price and one by one, the girls face the titular terror and risk an agonising descent into madness.
