Under The Tree
Agnes (Lara Johanna Jonsdottir) discovers her husband Atli (Steinbor Hroar Steinborsson) in possession of a sex tape recorded by an ex-girlfriend and swiftly ejects him from her life. Separated from his spouse and their young daughter, Atli returns home crestfallen to live with his mild-mannered father Baldvin (Sigurdur Sigurjonsson) and acid-tongued mother Inga (Edda Bjorgvinsdottir), who are locked in bitter dispute with their younger neighbours, Konrad (Thorsteinn Bachmann) and Eybjorg (Selma Bjornsdottir). A tree belonging to Inga is a particular bone of contention and as tensions rise, Atli witnesses a total collapse in civility between the two sides.
