Breaking Through
A talented dancer comes of age on the streets of Los Angeles in a rites-of-passage drama written and directed by John Swetnam. Casey McNamara (Sophia Aguilar) is a gifted performer, who dreams of making it big as a choreographer and dancer. She posts videos online with the help of her crew, which includes videographer J.J. (Jordan Rodrigues) and musician-composer Michelle (Taeko McCarroll). These videos fail to gain traction until talent spotter Quinn (Jay Ellis) promises to lend his expertise. He provides some pointers for the group's next video but it soon transpires that he is really just interested in Casey. Quinn persuades her to ditch the rest of the crew to chase fame and fortune as a solo performer.
