Everybody's Talking About Jamie
Inspired by the BBC Three documentary Jamie: Drag Queen At 16, Sheffield Theatres' acclaimed coming-of-age musical with a book and lyrics by Tom MacRae and music by Dan Gillespie Sells from The Feeling transferred into London's West End in November 2017. A film adaptation is currently in production. Broadcast live from the stage of the Apollo Theatre under the direction of Jonathan Butterell, Everybody's Talking About Jamie stars John McCrea in the title role of a fabulous and fearless 16-year-old, who overcomes prejudice and steps into the spotlight with support from his loving mum and friends. Contains strong language and mild sexual references.
