Based on the Gujarati play of the same title penned by Saumya Joshi, 102 Not Out is a heart-warming Hindi-language comedy drama, which reunites Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor on screen after 27 years. Dattatraya Vakharia (Bachchan) is 102 years old and stands on the threshold of setting a new Guinness World Record as the oldest man alive. A Chinese man currently holds that honour but Dattatraya refuses to be denied his moment of glory. As he pursues this cherished dream, the centenarian forges closer ties to his grumpy 75-year-old son Babulal (Kapoor), and the two men share amusing misadventures that confirm life doesn't begin after 70 but it definitely becomes more colourful.
