Gholam (Shahab Hosseini) is an Iranian taxi driver on the streets of present day London, who keeps to himself and silently turns his back on his mysterious past as a war hero. He is a creature of habit, eating every day at a cafe run by his uncle (Russell Parsi). When night falls, Gholam encounters some of the most vulnerable and obnoxious elements of society in the back of his car. In regular telephone calls, his mother implores him to return home but he is content to remain in the capital. A threatening face from the past (Nasser Memarzia) tries without success to recruit Gholam to his cause. Instead, the taxi driver risks everything to seek justice for one innocent victim of London's knife crime and violence.
