Heroes aren't always the people you expect in director Raj Kumar Gupta's 1980s-set Bollywood crime drama, which is inspired by real events in Uttar Pradesh and has been written for the screen by Ritesh Shah. Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn) is a straight-talking income tax officer, who never deviates from the rules and wields the full force of the law with fiery intent. His incorruptibility is a source of pride for wife Nita (Ileana D'Cruz) but causes headaches for the rich and powerful. Amay's quest for justice, regardless of the personal costs, puts him on a collision course with corrupt politician Rameshwar Singh (Saurabh Shukla) and a brotherhood of influential men, who are used to putting personal profit ahead of ethics. Saanand Verma and Amit Bimrot co-star.
