Narrated by Hedy Lamarr's family, close friends and admirers, Alexandra Dean's documentary reveals the ingenious inventor and pioneer behind the facade of the Hollywood star, who starred in big screen classics Samson And Delilah and Ziegfeld Girl, and was referred to as "the most beautiful woman in the world". Informed by four previously unheard audio tapes of Lamarr talking candidly about her life, the film covers the actress' multiple marriages and affairs with the likes of Spencer Tracy and JFK as well as her little known work in the field of frequency hopping, which is now the basis of WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth communication.
