Documentary co-directors Sierra Pettengill and Pacho Velez plunder countless hours of archive footage to construct a portrait of the 40th President of the United States and how he used his Hollywood training and media savvy to bring the White House into the homes of his fellow Americans. The film explores Reagan's rise from passable actor to the most powerful man on the planet, and focuses on the extraordinary relationship between the President and Mikhail Gorbachev, the leader of the Soviet Union.
