Slipknot: Day of the Gusano
Formed in 1995, Slipknot have become one of the most popular and instantly recognisable heavy metal bands in the world, sporting distinctive masks and inspiring a rabid fan base, known affectionately as "maggots". Founder Shawn Crahan aka Clown directs this documentary, which was captured during the group's first visit to Mexico City in 2015 to perform at the inaugural Knotfest. Concert footage is intercut with interviews with the band and the fans, who explain how Slipknot and the surrounding counterculture have impacted their lives.
