Predator
Director John McTiernan's hugely enjoyable action thriller, which features Arnold Schwarzenegger at the height of his powers, marks its 30th anniversary with a rerelease in selected cinemas. Colonel George Dillon (Carl Weathers) supervises a search and rescue mission in the South American jungle, leading a team of well trained and armed men that includes Dutch Schaeffer (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Blain Cooper (Jesse Ventura), Rick Hawkins (Shane Black), Poncho Ramirez (Richard Chaves), Billy Sole (Sonny Landham) and medic Mac Elliot (Bill Duke). The team members are unaware that their progress is being tracked by an expertly camouflaged, extra-terrestrial visitor equipped with thermal imaging. During the mission, Dillon and his men capture a guerrilla called Anna Gonsalves (Elpidia Carrillo). The creature attacks the group and the soldiers spread out, determined to hunt down an invisible and merciless adversary.
