Thomas & Friends: Journey Beyond Sodor
David Stoten's family-friendly musical adventure follows the eponymous blue train engine as he embarks on a momentous journey of self-discovery. Thomas (voiced by John Hasler) chugs happily on the island of Sodor but he begins to question his importance to Sir Topham Hatt (Keith Wickham) because boastful red engine James (Rob Rackstraw) always seems to get the best jobs. Eventually, Thomas elects to prove his worth by taking James's carriages and heading to the mainland. En route, Thomas befriends some "Experimental Engines" and becomes trapped in the steelworks with two shady characters. When James subsequently gets into trouble, Thomas must put his jealousy aside to help his fellow engine.
