The Weekend
Derrick (Joivan Wade), Malcolm (Percelle Ascott) and Tyler (Dee Kaate) are best friends, who have grown up together in East London. Derrick spends an enjoyable first year as an undergraduate at Oxford University and returns home for the summer holidays to be reunited with his buddies, who still live and work in the area, During the break, Derrick, Malcolm and Tyler stumble upon cash totalling 100,000 pounds and the decide to spend the windfall on a wild weekend of excess including new clothes, a Range Rover and a party. Unfortunately, the money belongs to a gangland thug and when he finally catches up with the trio, he gives them just 24 hours to recoup the 100,000 pounds or face the dire consequences.
