Heritage of Love
Yuriy Vasilev directs this sweeping Russian romance about the power of love to transcend space and time. During the last few days of the Tsar's rule at the beginning of the 20th century, young Princess Vera Chernysheva (Svetlana Ivanova) encounters dashing lieutenant Andrey Dolmatov (Dima Bilan). They fall head over heels in love during a brief yet intense courtship only to be separated by the First World War, which divides people into two blood-crazed camps. A century later in Paris, Andrey Kulikov (Bilan again) visits the grave of his great-grandfather, Andrey Dolmatov and is struck by the face of a young woman on the headstone. During a walk through the French capital, Andrey encounters Vera (Ivanova again), who looks exactly like this mysterious woman.
