Bollywood hunk Ajay Devgn wears multiple hats as director, producer and leading man for this Hindi language action thriller, which is released on Diwali weekend. With echoes of the Liam Neeson blockbuster Taken, Shivaay centres on the eponymous mountaineer and explorer (Devgn), whose life is turned upside down when his beloved daughter is kidnapped by a gang of ruthless, drug-trafficking criminals. Putting his climbing and navigational skills to the test, Shivaay resolves to rescue his child from the clutches of the thugs and teach them a harsh lesson in justice with help from Mother Nature.
