The Greasy Strangler
Writer-director Jim Hosking melds two seemingly incompatible genres - a buddy comedy and a gore-slathered slasher flick - in this anarchic journey through the blood-spattered streets of Los Angeles. Big Ronnie (Michael St. Michaels) runs a walking tour in the City of Angels with his son Brayden (Sky Elobar). Their humdrum days are brightened when a sexy and alluring woman named Janet (Elizabeth De Razzo) takes the tour and sparks fierce competition between father and son for her affections. Brayden believes he is head over heels in love, while Big Ronnie wants to sabotage the fledgling romance to ensure his boy doesn't leave home. As the conflict intensifies, an inhuman maniac dubbed "the Greasy Strangler", who covers himself in cooking fat and preys upon the weak and vulnerable, goes on the rampage.
