Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan plays a lawyer, who must face his demons, in a taut courtroom drama directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. Deepak (Bachchan) is a gifted orator and possesses vast knowledge of the law but his ability to represent his clients is sometimes compromised by his bipolar disorder, which results in frequent mood swings. He pledges to represent Miss Arora (Taapsee Pannu) and her two roommates (Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang) after the young women are molested by a privileged young man called Rajveer (Angad Bedi) and his drunken friends. Justice must prevail but Deepak's volatile emotional state threatens to undermine the high profile case.
