M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story
Director Neeraj Pandey (A Wednesday) pays tribute to one of India's sporting greats - cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni - in this affectionate biopic, which was shot in real-life locations for authenticity. The film traces the rise of Mahendra (Sushant Singh Rajput) from his school days to his job as a humble ticket collector at Kharagpur station. Aided by his coach (Rajesh Sharma), Mahendra slowly gains attention in the international sporting arena and he becomes a record-breaking batsman and wicket-keeper. Some successes come at a price, but with each trial and tribulation, Mahendra dedicates himself to earning the love and respect of his wife Sakshi (Kiara Advani) and father Pan Singh (Anupam Kher).
