Prithviraj headlines Jeethu Joseph's Malayalam revenge thriller, which touches upon similar themes to the director's previous films, Drishyam and Memories. Krishnamurthy (Balachandra Menon) is an honest and hard-working health inspector, who targets corruption even if that means causing ripples in the upper echelons of power. He investigates a medical corporation run by Marcus (Jayaprakash) and Krishnamurthy's family pays a terrible price for his honourable actions. His son Surya (Prithviraj), who works in America and is an expert in controlled explosions, returns home to exact brutal revenge. In the process, Surya becomes a wanted man and must stay one step ahead of a tenacious assassin called Captain (Pasupathy).
