Greed is exceedingly good in Meera Menon's contemporary corporate thriller. Naomi Bishop (Anna Gunn) is a key player on Wall Street and is one of the few women in power in a male-dominated profession. In order to survive, Naomi must be ruthless, even with her ambitious junior Erin Manning (Sarah Megan Thomas), who has used her feminine wiles to sweeten the initial public offering (IPO) of a technology company run by a sleazeball CEO called Ed (Samuel Roukin). With her reputation and future riding on the success of the IPO, Naomi is suspicious of everyone who could undermine the deal, including her lover Michael Connor (James Purefoy). He hopes to get some inside information from Naomi on the IPO, which he can feed back to his hedge fund comrades. Meanwhile, old college friend Samantha (Alysia Reiner), who is now a state attorney, contacts Naomi to ask for her cooperation in an investigation into insider trading and securities fraud at her firm.
