Popular schoolteacher Biju Paulose (Nivin Pauly) has always dreamt about serving his community as a police officer so he gives up his comfortable and well paid job for the grime of the streets in Cochin. His dedication leads to promotion as sub-inspector, serving proudly under Commissioner Rajasekhar IPS (Major Ravi). Biju invests all of his time and energy in his work, solving a multitude of complex crimes ranging from domestic abuse and sexual assaults to drug smuggling with the help of Constable Nirupan (Prajod Kalabhavan) and Constable Subair (Dr Rony Davis). Consequently, Biju neglects his beautiful fiancee Benitta (Anu Immanuel) and he faces tough decisions about his work-life balance.
