Writer-director Andrew Haigh comes on leaps and bounds from his debut Greek Pete with his impressive second feature, a haunting romance in the spirit of Brief Encounter and Before Sunrise. Russell (Tom Cullen) celebrates a friend's birthday party and on the way home, he ventures into a club and spots Glen (Chris New). The two flirt and in the morning, Russell wakes to find Glen in bed beside him. What begins as a drunken one-night stand threatens to become a defining moment for both young men as they wrestle with extraordinary feelings for each other on the very weekend when one of them is poised to make a decision that will change his life. Possibly forever.
