Best friends Marie and Alex plan a quiet weekend away from the rat race at a farmhouse owned by Alex's parents. The girls arrive in the middle of the night and immediately head off to their beds, only for the calm to be broken by a deafening knock at the door. When Alex's father goes to investigate, he becomes the first victim of a deranged killer, who sets about hunting down everyone else in the house.
