In August 1969, a young Placido Domingo sang the title role in Verdi's opera Don Carlo at the Arena Di Verona amphitheatre. Fifty years later, he returns to the same stage for an anniversary gala evening to revisit three of his greatest roles: Nabucco, Simon Boccanegra and Macbeth.
