A renowned and handsome womaniser falls in love with his best friend's girlfriend and decides to pursue her despite the obvious threat to his friendship. Following a car crash in which a former girlfriend commits suicide and almost kills him too, the womaniser is hideously disfigured and fears that the love of his life will never be able to look at him again. He soon learns there is more to life than external beauty.
