Re-issue of Jacques Rivette's award-winning 1974 surreal fantasy. Celine, a magician and Julie, a librarian, are best friends who live out of each other's pockets. When Celine tells her pal about a haunted house, the pair decide to visit, and consequently become involved in the ghosts' daily dramas. Based on a short story by Henry James.
