German army deserter Willi Herold goes on the run for his life. He is compelled to kill a farmer during the theft of some eggs for food. Subsequently, the terrified young man finds an abandoned car and a full military uniform, which fits him snugly. Willi decides to pass himself off as a captain.Running Time: 119 minutes
