Stornoway Airport is located on the Scottish Island of Stornaway, 4 miles from the Stornoway town on the east coast of Lewis. Stornoway Airport provides a key access point to the Western Isles, with flights from Inverness and Glasgow, and inter-island services to Benbecula and Barra. Located on the east coast of Lewis, a few miles from Stornoway, the airport also serves as a base for the search and rescue helicopter operated by HM Coastguard.

Ambulift facilities are available to assist passengers with impaired mobility during embarkation from aircraft. Wheelchair and limited disabled toilet facilities are available in the Terminal Building. There are ramp facilities at the entrance and staff are always available to assist.
Car and van rental is available at the airport.
The Airport is located approx 3 miles east of Stornoway town centre and is clearly sign posted from the A866. Passengers travelling from the east of the island should use the A866, which is the main road that runs through the eastern part of the island. Passengers approaching the airport from the west can use either the A858 or A859. The A857 is the main road that runs from the north of the island. The airport is close to town of Stornoway.
There is an hourly bus service (run by Melbost bus) operating from the Airport to Stornoway town centre.
Taxis are available at the airport and in the town.
