It is the busiest single runway airport in the world, the second largest airport in the UK and the sixth busiest international airport in the world. Gatwick airport is 28 miles south of London. From the M25 motorway leave at Junction 7, then take the M23 south towards Crawley, turning off west at Junction 9, from where Gatwick airport is clearly signposted.
Busses are vailable to a variety of destinations, including Luton and Heathrow airports, from the terminal forecourt. Gatwick airport's coach station is on the ground floor of the south terminal. Some coaches also stop at the north terminal.
