There are three car parks at Bournemouth Airport and there is space for aound 1500 cars so advance reservations are not required.

Car Park 1 & 2
Car parks 1 and 2 are suitable for short and long stays and are just a few minutes walk from the terminal building. Car park 1 is located immediately in front of the terminal and has dedicated disabled parking spaces adjacent to the pedestrian access route to the terminal. Car park 2 is situated just north of the terminal. Charges are the same for both Car Park 1 & 2.

Car Park 3
Car park 3 is closest to the terminal and the arrivals area and is primarily used for collecting arriving passengers. The first ten minutes are free so passengers using the long stay car parks can also use it as a convenient passenger/luggage pick up point. This car park can also be used as a short stay car park, although premium rates do apply.

directions
Car
The airport is about 10 minutes drive from the centre of Bournemouth just outside Hurn.

If you are travelling from London or anywhere along the M3 corridor simply take the M3 southbound towards Southampton. Where the M3 joins the M27 follow the westbound directions for Bournemouth.

Passengers travelling from the Sussex/Kent coast have direct access to the M27 via the A27. At its western end the M27 becomes the A31 dual carriageway as it crosses the New Forest.

Shortly after the town of Ringwood you will need to exit left onto the A338 dual carriageway and follow the signs for Bournemouth. Five miles along the A338 you will see the B3073 exit for Bournemouth Airport clearly signposted on your left.

If you are travelling from the Midlands or the North of England we would recommend you head for Oxford and join the A34 dual carriageway. The A34 will take you south as far as Winchester at which point you should join the M3 southbound and follow the directions given above. From the South West the most direct route is to head for Wimborne using the A35. On reaching Wimborne join the A31 and you will find the airport clearly marked.

Bus
Service A1 runs to and from Bournemouth Square and Bournemouth Interchange (the bus and rail station in the town centre) to Bournemouth airport in under half an hour. The bus runs roughly every 2 hours every day.
