Travelling North on the A1:
At Washington Services keep in right hand lanes to join A194(M) signposted South Shields and Tyne Tunnel.
Follow this for 3½ miles to the Jjunction with the A184. At roundabout go straight forward on to A194 (signposted South Shields) with Little Chef on your left.
Follow the A194 for ¾ mile until it merges with the A19 (signposyed Tyne Tunnel).
Stay on the A19, passing through the tunnel (toll booths on exit) and on leaving the toll booths take first exit at roundabout (A19 Morpeth).
Stay on the A19for 1 1/2 miles until it's junction with the A1058 coast road and at the roundabout take the 4th exit up onto the coast road signposted _Tynemouth.
Stay on the A1058 for approx 2 miles until you reach the A192. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Preston North Road - A192 (signposted Whitley Bay)
At next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Preston North Road - A192 and at next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Preston North Road - A192, At next _roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Rake Lane - A191. Continue forward onto Rake Lane - A191. Entering Whitley Bay.
At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Shields Road - A191 (signposted Whitley Bay), Turn right onto Lovaine Avenue where ground entrance is 2/3rds of the way _down on your right.
