Stratford Armouries
Stratford Armouries is a family orientated attraction located on the outskirts of the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Comprising of a curriculum-linked museum, restaurant, indoor play barn and outdoor play fort the Armouries is the perfect family day out.
The museum has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of Key Stages 1 & 2. Covering modules including 'what buildings were like a long time ago' the museum is educational as well as entertaining. Our centre piece - a life sized armoured Indian elephant will amaze and intrigue the whole family, as will the four galleries full of ornate artifacts and paintings.
After exploring the galleries you can relax with a coffee and a light-bite while your children blow off some steam in our indoor play barn. The playbarn is a specifically designed so that parents are able to see their children at all times, and is fitted with electronically controlled safety doors throughout.
Stratford Armouries also incorporates a fantastic 100 seat restaurant and healthy eating café serving a range of fantastic adult and children's dishes.
