Cardiff Arts Institute
Cardiff Arts Institute (CAI) is a Canteen, Social Club and Music Room in the city centre, and was officially opened on 5th November 2009.
It is a collaboration between one of Britain's most critically acclaimed independent pub groups and a brand new Cardiff collective who, between them, have years of experience in promoting events in the city and around the country.
580 Limited are the creators of the Field Day Festival, London's Amersham Arms and Lock Tavern venues ("London's king of cool", Time Out), Adventures In The Beetroot Field club nights and Start The Bus in Bristol.
Cardiff's Something Creatives are the team responsible for Milgi, Secret Carnival, the Inflatable Church and Northcote Lane Market.
Together, they aim to make CAI a venue that will enhance the social fabric of the city's nightlife, whilst changing the face of its arts scene.
The Institute hosts a blend of live music, club nights, arts events and food.
