Raceway 81 is the home of Newcastle Slot Car Club.
In addition to weekly racing on Monday and Thursday evenings, the raceway is also available for Birthday Parties, Corporate events and fun races (subject to pre booking)
Slot car racing is a "refined" and much faster version of "Scalextric" and provides an opportunity for either serious competitive sport or just a real fun night out.

Minimum age of racers is 8-10 (children must be accompanied by responsible adult / parent)
Disabled access is imited, but possible for wheelchair access.
Credit cards are not accepted.

Club Night racing is £5 per evening (using your own cars) or £30 per month as a member subscription.
Organised fun races, corporate events etc start from £10 per head (including cars and equipment), minimum 10 racers. The Centre can cater for up to 40 people.
