This delightful Jacobean house was home to Rudyard Kipling from 1902 to 1936, and contains many artefacts and Oriental rugs, which reflect the author's strong associations with the East. The grounds run to a watermill on the River Dudwell and Kipling's Rolls-Royce is on display.
