Christchurch Mansion

The original house built in 1548 on the site of an Augustinian priory. At the end of the 19th century the house and parkland were saved by the Cobbold family from redevelopment; today Christchurch Mansion, set in a beautiful park, shows off its period furnished rooms. There is a lively programme of exhibitions in the Wolsey Art Gallery and The Rooms upstairs.
