Most areas of the zoo is accessible for people using wheelchairs. The pathways are mainly grass or gravel and the zoo is set on a slight incline. We do not recommend motorized mobility vehicles as some of the pathways are country park like and uneven.

We regret that dogs and pets are not allowed in the zoo. This includes guide dogs and assistant dogs as this has been known to upset the animals.

Reduced rates for pre-booked parties of 20 or more
Fine collection of rare and exotic animals and birds. As one of the main concerns of the zoo is conservation and education the animals are housed in enclosures as close to their natural habitat as possible.
