Pitshanger Manor and Gallery
Set in an attractive park, Pitshanger Manor was built 1800-04 by the architect Sir John Soane 1753-1837 as his family country villa. The house incorporates a wing of the late 1760's by George Dance. The Art Gallery houses a changing programme of exhibitions. Short Courses, Lectures and Gallery Events details are available quarterly - call for details. Picnic area in the adjacent park. Guided tours for pre-booked parties.
